Cory Hinesley is a Kansas City–based production designer and set fabricator working in the film industry. Drawn to timeless design and the nostalgia and curiosity it inspires, she approaches each project with a strong narrative sensibility. Her work spans feature films, music videos, and commercial productions, with environments crafted to quietly reveal the lives of the characters within them. Influenced by mid-century graphic design, art history, and vibrant vintage color palettes, Hinesley creates spaces that serve as active, meaningful elements of the story.

Through a series of immersive environments staged throughout the building, the work hints at the fates of former employees, moviegoers, and the strange, magical forces that seem to revive the space. Each interactive room is styled with playful retro detail, inviting visitors to step into scenes that feel suspended in time.
