Atlas9 is a location-based immersive art experience set inside a transformed 90s movie theater where a projection experiment has gone awry. The malfunction unleashed bursts of energy that altered several forgotten films. Visitors are invited to step inside this story by a secretive government agency called FACADE to uncover what happened.
Guests can explore in a non-linear, self-guided way, moving through rooms, corridors, tunnels, and interactive exhibits that each represent different film-inspired worlds. The venue features a 240-seat theater with live performances.
The experience is interactive, with RFID-enabled wristbands that activate over 70 touchpoints and exhibits throughout the space. Beyond the art and performances, Atlas9 offers themed food, drinks, and retail into the adventure, including a fully themed concession stand and a speakeasy where bartenders play their roles as part of the narrative.
-
All ages can enjoy Atlas9! It is a family friendly experience. Children 2 and under are free. Age-specific sessions are notated on the ticketing page.
-
As long as you leave when we close at the end of the night, you can stay as long as you’d like. We have found that some folks are in and out in less than an hour, where others have stayed upwards of 7 hours. On average, we suggest planning for 2-3 hours.

More than 250 local and national designers, artists, fabricators, illustrators, technologists, engineers, installers, animators, and performers have contributed to the narrative-driven, physical and digital world of Atlas9. AI was used only when individual artists chose to include it as a supporting tool to their design and to bring a dynamic and responsive layer to our interactive experience, not as a replacement for human creativity.

Guests with sensitivities to these elements - including those with conditions such as epilepsy, post-traumatic stress disorder, or sensory processing sensitivities - may find portions of the experience uncomfortable. If you’re unsure, we recommend skipping this attraction or speaking with a staff member before entering so we can help you decide what is best for you.
