Taylor Smith is a fabricator with more than 17 years of experience, whose work reflects a deep appreciation for nature and organic growth an influence rooted in an early dream of becoming a florist.

After nearly a decade at Dimensional Innovations, this project represents the first opportunity for Smith to create a fully self-directed artwork. The piece features a collection of uniquely crafted microphones, each distinct in form and character, as if carrying its own voice, capturing the improvisation, rhythm, and expressive chaos of jazz.
