Entry is timed — arrive within 30 minutes of your slot, then stay as long as you like until close. Most visits run 2–3 hours. Running more than an hour late? Call (913) 708-8081 to rebook.

Can kids visit Atlas9?

All ages are welcome. Children 2 and under are free, and visitors 13 and under need an adult with them.

What should I wear to Atlas9?

Dress to explore — the experience includes tunnels, mirrored rooms, and hidden passages. Comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes are recommended.

Can I eat at Atlas9 without a ticket?

Yes — Splice Bros, the full-service pizza restaurant and pub inside Atlas9, requires no ticket. Ticketed guests can also enjoy concessions and three bars inside the experience.

Is Atlas9 stroller and wheelchair friendly?

Yes — Atlas9 is fully wheelchair, scooter, and stroller accessible, and service animals are welcome.

What if someone in my group is sensitive to lights or sounds?

We've been showing movies in Kansas City since 1951. After the HOLOMAX incident the summer of ‘95, the movies haven't exactly stayed on the screen. We call it the Liminal Zone, and it's still active.

An agency called FACADE oversees the site now and keeps it stable. At the door you'll get a TCK-IT wristband. It's part ticket, part field instrument, and it unlocks more than seventy interactive anomalies in the building. None of them are required, and you're welcome to simply wander. But do a little fieldwork and you'll find deeper rooms, older secrets, and a few answers I can't give you.

Explore at your own pace. Talk to my staff. And if a phone rings as you pass, answer it.
